This past week I was in Montreal shooting architecture. It was my first time in this beautiful city and I was in awe of the historic buildings, the endless street of shopping and eateries, the French-Canadian people themselves, and the breathe-taking lights at night. During one of my afternoon walks, I suddenly couldn’t cross the street. A flood of protesters were marching around the city to protest the new 3% hike in tuition. Fortunately for me, I was ready with my camera, climbed up on a bike pole (which was extremely sturdy) and started photographing.
