The holiday season has begun with an incredible Christmas Tour Of Homes In Port Elgin.
This is such a great event as you can travel around visiting incredible homes that are styled and decorated with charm, sophistication, and holiday spirit. Carla Pavlov of CR Designs and her team brought the Kidson-Durrer home into the holiday season. Carla Pavlov styled each room with luxury linens, bedding, and accent pieces. She gave every room her personal touch that screamed luxury. I fell in love with the all white and textured bedding. I can easily see it on my bed and my little dog, Sally Pants, snuggled up in it. Oh and Carla was the inspiration for the tallest (EVER) tree in the tour. She envisioned a 25 foot Christmas Tree in the middle of the room with its height mirroring the cathedral ceiling. The tree was a piece of art in the space.
A big thank you to Jill and Peter from Port Elgin Home Hardware. They donated lots of Christmas ornaments and deco. And all of the stunning floral arrangements were put together by the talented Sarah of Serendipity Florals. I loved how Sarah added little lights to her floral arrangements, making them glow and sparkle.
This year the Christmas Tour of Homes broke records. 1018 tickets where sold and people came from all over to see and experience the warmth, charm, and holiday cheers within the homes of the Christmas Tour.
I cannot wait until next year! Here are a few of my favourite shots that I took from the Kidson-Durrer home.
