“If you have ever met Candra then you know she is the most kind hearted and non judgmental person out there. Now there are tons of photographers around but someone like Candra definitely stands tall among the rest! Her passion for our furry friends is infinite and she has the patience to work with them. She has given me memories to keep for a lifetime! I am truly excited for my next photo shoot." – Shannon McNabb, Pet Photography
We had a great experience Candra was very professional and very patient with my very busy 18 month old daughter! We are very happy with the work Candra did and would recommend her to anyone!

It’s Saturday October 12, 2012 and a very exciting day for Sherri, Adam and their daughter, Madi. It’s their Wedding Day. And…it was my first wedding as a primary photographer. Mind you, I had shot plenty of weddings as a 2nd shooter, but this was different. It was my first official wedding. Sherri and Adam had chosen me as their photographer and I was honoured.
Lots of excitement and love was in the air!
Sherri and Adam’s wedding was at the fabulous Best Western Inn On The Bay. It was a beautiful Fall day. In the distance, rain clouds hovered, teasing us with light showers. But no worries as this created a gorgeous sky and a wind that gave all of us a natural wind blown look. But just incase it did rain, the wedding was held in the banquet hall – an intimate room full of fall festive decorations.
The day was full of amazing energy and enjoyment. Especially when Sherri was getting into her fabulous wedding dress. The dress was lovely and full of sparkle and femininity. And best of all, it took multiple ladies to tie it up – classic. At one point, Sherri’s sister’s foot was up on Sherri and she was pulling back to tighten the dress. Priceless. This was one of the best ‘Getting Into The Dress’ wedding sessions I’ve ever witnessed. In the end, Sherri looked like Royalty!
As Sherri was getting into her dress, her beautiful daughter supervised the event and even tried to help. Oh she was super cute.
Side note – I started photographing little Madi when she first started crawling. I remember photographing Madi in their backyard and Sherri and Adam blowing bubbles at her. Adorable! Madi loved the bubbles, almost as much as she loved her big ball.
The ceremony was very sweet and there was an elegant arrangement of flowers and pumpkins that fit their Fall Thanksgiving theme magnificently. After they exchanged vows, rings, and sealed the deal with a romantic kiss, it was time for pictures. We spent some time getting family shots and then the bridal party went outside and braved the wind. (No Rain.) We had fun chasing and posing for the birds 😉 And then we finished with some jaw dropping shots of Sherri and Adam together for the first time as husband and wife.
The remainder of the night was full of dancing and memories.
Fast forward till the present.
Sherri and Adam have two beautiful daughters (Madi and Kyle) and one on the way. I wonder if they will have another little girl? Or maybe this time a baby boy will join their family. One thing is for sure, there is always something fun and entertaining going on in their home.
Congratulations Sherri and Adam on your beautiful wedding, family, and life together. And thank you for letting me photograph your wonderful wedding. Since then I have photographed lots of weddings but yours will always be remembered and cherished.
I am a small time gal who loves to photograph pets and people. I love rolling around with dog, wading ankle deep in Georgian bay, photographing intimate weddings and the stories that are too, and just being me!
