I am a moment lead photographer. Meaning I create and look for the beauty in the moment and let things unfold in front of me. I never push or stress about getting a pose. The Experience
Styling & Planning
STEP ONE
From the moment you inquire, you’ll feel well prepared and taken care of. I’ll send over information in an email and invite you to schedule a phone consultation so that we can go over any questions or special requests you may have.
We also decide on the best location for our amazing session. Portrait Sessions are either held in my Owen Sound Studio, outside at a picturesque spot, or at your home. I work with you to choose the best location. After our chat, I’ll email you tips on how to get your pet ready for their personalized session.
Your Session
STEP TWO
For your session, you are my helper for the session. You help get you pet where we want to put them for the shot. LOL and sometimes we have to repeat a pose until we get the shot 😉 And don’t worry, if we plan to get photos of you and your pet together, we do this too.
I will get lots of action and posed shots of your pet. And I will get lots of diversity with different backgrounds and perspecitives. Yes, it will be hard to pick your favourites 😉
Proofing & Image Selection
STEP 3
I know how excited you are to see your portraits! That’s why I get your proofs to you right away. You have two options on how you can view your proofs
Option A) Within just a couple of days of your session, your inbox will make the happiest ding! A proofing gallery with all of the best images from your session will be waiting for you. You will have the opportunity to pick a package and choose your favourite photos.
Now, you must have a computer/laptop for this option as it doesn’t work on your phone.
Proofs are not edited as I will edit the ones you choose. There will a watermark on the photos. This is to say that they are proofs and are not purchased yet. Please do not screenshot them.
Option B) For a more personalized experience, you come back to my studio 1 week after your session for an in-person premiere & ordering session. I help you choose your favourite portraits and right size and art work for your home.

Retouching & Delivery
STEP FOUR
This is where the magic happens. Once you’ve selected your images, each portrait is hand-retouched to create your one-of-a-kind portrait memory. I remove leashes, electrical outlets (these are often in my studio photos), blemishes and other distractions. I am a skilled retoucher where I specialize in subtle editing for natural-looking portraits.
Within 4-6 weeks of you submitting your choices, you will receive another online gallery with your fully edited, high resolution digital files. Oh and you will receive both colour and black and white versions. Your digital files are yours to download, share, and print as you like.you will receive .
Creating Your Heirlooms
STEP 5
Deciding what to do with your images can be overwhelming. For those families that want guidance on choosing art work for your home, your session includes a complimentary artwork design appointment in my studio. Or you can order prints directly through your online gallery.
I offer a carefully curated line of heirloom quality prints and products. You can order anything from a single framed print to hang in your home, or a story-telling wall gallery over your couch, or an album of your favourite images, I can help custom design it.

I am a big fan of both digital files & prints, making it easy to get both, and customized service to suite your needs.
So, I keep it simple. You pay a $300 session fee at time of booking and then 7 days after your session, you see your proofing gallery, and purchase a collection. Now, you only buy what you want. Yep that’s right! You choose the images you love and want: No more buying pictures you don’t love and will never use or display.

These prints are printed on archival paper, with archival ink and have a laminate product on them so they don’t fade (traditional loose prints don’t have any of this). They are a luxury product so that you have them forever.
