SENIOR & END OF LIFE SESSIONS

Senior & End Of Life Pet Sessions

(please note, these sessions receive priority booking in my calendar)

You love your dog or cat so much.  You call them your fur baby.  AND, sadly they are getting older and are even considered a senior now.  OR maybe, you just got back from the vet and received the sad news that your pet is sick (which I am so sorry to hear and am sending hugs).

So a wonderful way to hold onto your pet and honour them is to have a fun and memorable pet session that you will look back on for years.  A pet session isn’t just a click of a camera. it’s a once in a lifetime experience for both you and your pet.

It’s a way to hold onto them forever…remember their quirks, personality and authentic selves…even when they’e gone.

I am not after those perfect ‘Show’ poses, I am here to photograph and capture your pet the way they truly are, playful or shy, groomed or shaggy, running wild or snuggled on the couch.  And honesly, I love when their tongues are out & they get a little scruffy…after all, they are dogs and thats what dogs do.

During your Senior (or end of life session), you could get photos of their cute head tilts, their shake-a-paw, their bouncy energy or lazy cute demeanour.  The photo possibilities are endless!

One thing is forsure…we go at your pets energy level.  So if they just want to lounge on the couch then that’s what we will do ;). Hehe you will love these photos as it’s all about your dog.

And, I encourage you to get in some of the photos 😉 After all, this is your heart dog, your bff, your fur child and you want to showcase the bond you have.

Senior or End Of Life Sessions reveal the most beautiful parts of your pet’s personality and the story you two share.

And the beautiful keepsake prints, wall art and albums that you get, decorate your home and bring a big smile to you and everyone who sees them.  It truly is a gift to have a pet session..

It pains me to say that our pets are only with us for a short time.  I myself have a senior dog, named Sally Pants.  I often cry knowing that our days are numbered but then smile at her knowing she is and will always be my heart dog.  And I am grateful to have amazing photos of her.  Hehe yes, I have had professional photos taken of her AND we have photos together!

Your portraits from your session help you stay connected with your BFF fur-baby, help you grieve when they are gone, and hold them tight…This way your memories won’t fade away.

Here are some photos of senior pets and pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge.

Products

You’re wanting to fill your home with portraits from you pet session. Yah-who. Choosing your favourite images & deciding how best to display them is a great experience.

I offer professional, high quality, ready to go products that you can start enjoying immediately. You don’t have to lift a finger…or hoof…I do all the framing, mounting, and the finishing touches.

Below are the products that my families LOVE.

Heirloom Photo Albums

pet photo albumWhen you’re interested in a Photo album, I photograph your pet playing, cuddling, scratching ears, that adorable head tilt, and much more. Thus, all the images from your photo session are lovingly crafted into a beautiful high quality photo album that truly tells the story of your pet.

Album pages are beautifully thick (oh la la) and images are professionally printed
on fine art, lustre archival paper, rated to 75 years. These albums are a show-stopper piece of art – that is all about your pet

Bamboo Folio Heirloom Boxes

Family Favourite!  This is a beautiful heirloom wooden bamboo box. It contains 10-20 matted 5×7 prints.  You can choose to frame these yourself, keep some in the keepsake box, and/or display them in the matching wooden photos stand.  You can also upgrade the box from Bamboo to Timber Wood and add hand-torm edges to your photos.

Framed Canvas Wall Art

Yes, you read it right. They are framed! I love the polished and finished look of a
framed canvas. And I want you to have them too. Framed canvases are versatile
and look great in every home. All canvases are laminated to reduce fading

Framed Print Wall Art

dog portraitOkay, this is my favourite…and my clients’ favourite. Whether you’re looking for a modern or traditional feel, framed wall art easily achieves that. Simply by changing the colour or style of frame will complete the look you are going for. Personally, I think a simple white frame looks good anywhere, but I also offer black, grey, brown, and many more looks and styles.

Portraits are printed on fine art paper, mounted, laminated and presented behind
acrylic with a dust backing to seal the wall art. Instead of glass, I use acrylic as it’s light and won’t shatter. This is important in homes with active dogs, cats or even children as wall art can sometimes be knocked off the wall 😉

High Resolution Digital Images

I love nothing more than to see my client’s images printed and hung on walls. But I also understand the importance of owning the digital files. This is why I offer high resolution files to all my clients either in the All Inclusive Session Package or apart of my collections.

Images are provided as high-resolution 300dpi digital image files in jpg format. Every image is professionally retouched and formatted so that you can print them yourself. I also provide a print release.

Fine Art MOUNTED OR Matted Prints

If you’re looking for individual prints, I offer luxury professional print packages. All prints are mounted on styrene (or matted) for a professional look and laminated so they don’t fade.

Fine Art prints are sold individually or in packages
