Hi I’m Candra and I am waving to you from my pink couch as I am cuddling with my dog Sally Pants, with a black coffee next to me. Ahhh, relaxing!
When we first meet before your session, most likely I will be sporting a causal-chic look…aka. jeans and a blazer (probably pink). Then on the day of your session, I will often be in black tights, a comfy top that keeps me warm (I get cold easily) and pink camo rain boots…this way I am comfy, can easily move in my closes to keep up with your dogs and go anywhere in my rain boots…its the best wardrobe for photographing dogs! And when I am at home working (editing), most likely I will be rocking fleece PJ bottoms and a hoodie. Ahhhh, comfy and relaxing.
On your photo day, there is a good chance that I will embarrass myself…in a good way…by walking into a pole, falling over a dead salmon (yes this has happened), or saying something weird that makes you burst out laughing. Yep, we will be friends.
Pets are such a huge part of our lives. They experience the good & bad times, laughter & tears, & births & deaths. I find that if I am having a bad day, or am sad, the moment I come home and my dog Sally Pants greets me at the door, looks up at me and gives me her welcome lick…I instantly smile and feel better. And I love it when she cuddles on the couch…I always smile and cuddle into her too. She makes me feel happy. My childhood dog, Candy, did this too. I was a very shy girl and Candy always made me feel confident and happy.

about me…and my Sally Pants
I get goosebumps (good goosebumps) when I am photographing pets, horses, and the bond we share with them. It’s amazing to capture the beauty that radiates from you and your best fur friend; this warms my heart and makes us all smile.
2) Oooooooh, I love movie and pizza nights (Ahhh, relaxing). LOL but sadly I am lactose intolerant so I pick off the cheese and place it on my boyfriend’s slice as he LOVES cheese!
AND, I am, and will always be an outdoors woman. I love hiking with my Sally Pants & discovering new places. And I am graced with having the Niagara Escarpment & Bruce Peninsula as my backyard. On any given Sunday, I will grab my camera and set out on a new photo expedition. You never know where the day will take you!

3) Sally Pants random fact: She loves to visit her grandma and grandpa and play in their pond. Even better, she loves to get all wet and smell like the pond and then jump onto the nearest person’s lab.
Sally Pants has a huge vocab of little noises. She has a whine, whimper, little bark, and big bark for any and all things she is trying to communicate to you. LOL, and I believe she is adding to her vocab on a daily basis.
OH and she is now a senior dog….so every day matters. We go on daily walks (a.k.a W’s) that are a little shorter and slower then when she was a spry puppy. And our couch cuddles last for hours…and I am not exaggerating…we can cuddle all night long.
She is my BEST FRIEND!
